A Short Flower Tutorial

Hello!

Today I have a short tutorial in answer to how I made the flowers for Anna's Birthday Magic Box. They are easy to do!

I used a 2 1/2 " and a 2 " Scallop Circle Punch, the SU Scallop Circle Punch, the SU 1 1/2" Circle Punch, the SU 1/2 " Circle Punch, the SU 1/4 " Circle Punch, a Flower Punch, a Leaf Punch and the SU Heart to Heart Punch.

Have fun!

Thank you for visiting my blog today! And thank you for all the kind comments and e-mails that you have taken the time to write! I appreciate and love getting them! :<}

Regarding a tutorial for the Magic Box - the one I use can be found on my friend Patti's blog at

On her Friday, May 29, 2009 post is a Cake In A Box Tutorial - a great tutorial and easy to follow! This is the basic pattern and instructions I use for all my Magic Boxes - making adjustments in the height of the box if it is needed to accomodate the 'surprise' inside. I also make a belly band for a tall box to hold the sides in safely.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend! I hope to see you again tomorrow! Take care.

I am going to go to the stamp room right now and try these. I needed something special to finish a card for a swap. This is it.

Thanks for the inspiration. Carey
